Samenwerking MKV – Riviera

Club News

Onder het motto 2 is meer dan de som van 1+1 hebben wij het
genoegen om de samenwerking aan te kondigen tussen de U15
ploegen van Meeuwen en Riviera.
Vanaf dit nieuwe seizoen zullen beide ploegen hun krachten
bundelen en zal “Meeuwen-Riviera U15” bestaan uit 21 spelers en
speelsters hetgeen de mogelijkheid biedt om 2 ploegen samen te
stellen en zo alle spelers 2 niveaus aan te bieden. De synergie en
het vertrouwen tussen beide ploegen was er vanaf de eerste
kennismaking. Beide clubs stellen nl. de groei en de ontwikkeling
van elk jeugdlid voorop.
Praktisch gezien klopt het plaatje ook : onze terreinen zijn vlak over
elkaar gelegen, we hebben dezelfde thuiszaal, we hebben +/-
evenveel spelers (11/10) met een perfecte verdeling tussen jongens
en meisjes (10/11). De trainings- en wedstrijdmomenten worden
netjes tussen beide ploegen verdeeld zodat ieder wekelijks contact
houdt met zijn vertrouwde omgeving.
Wij wensen de 3 trainers, Jef en Bjorn Van Acker en Kenny Van
Bocxlaer heel veel succes met deze nieuwe uitdaging.
Tevens wensen wij voorzitter van Riviera Marc De Wever en
Jeugdcoördinator Joni Verheyleweghen
alsook onze eigen JC, Wouter Cooremans te bedanken voor alle
constructieve gesprekken die aan
deze beslissing voorafgingen.
